At the core of our business is a desire to advance responsibility and transparency in the jewelry industry while creating beautiful fine jewelry as a form of artistic expression.
We have choices to make every step of the way that not only affect the final product, but impact individuals, and entire communities, along the supply chain.
We want to consciously support the change makers, the trail blazers, and people who are actively addressing the challenges and opportunities surrounding responsible sourcing and sustainability in the industry.
When you wear Debra Navarro Jewelry we want you to know you’re a part of a larger picture. Together we move forward, one piece of jewelry at a time.
Having sold jewelry for many years in a retail setting, Debra saw how consumers connected with a design, a colored stone, or a particular diamond in the display case. What she didn’t see were the many people behind the scenes who painstakingly bring the precious minerals to light.
Traveling to Kenya and Tanzania, meeting miners and their families, hearing their stories, and seeing the challenges they overcome, changed her perception of what it means to own a piece of fine jewelry.
We are connected not only to the finished piece of jewelry, but to the men and women, their families, and entire communities who rely on this industry to prosper. This means buying food, sending their kids to school, protecting wildlife, and providing real opportunities for growth.
Debra strives to ensure her jewelry has a larger purpose by partnering with people and organizations who share in her mission.
